• TL;DR: I ordered a chicken Monster Burrito with nearly all available toppings, and it cost just under thirteen dollars. It’s so huge, it’s almost as big as my forearm!

Hi, my name is Reesha, and as a foodie, I’ve been searching for the biggest (and best) burritos in town–I’m not talking about the big ones you can get at fast food places like Taco Bell’s grilled stuffed burrito.

I love supporting our local family-owned restaurants, too, and by Jove, I think I’ve stumbled across Yakima’s biggest burrito: Nino’s. This monster burrito lives up to its name and it’s only a few centimeters smaller than my forearm!

Come for the Burritos, Stay for the Vibes

I’ve heard that Don Cheo’s (1514 S 1st St) has big-sized burritos but I haven’t seen any bigger than the Monster Burrito at Nino’s Mexican Grill (4001 Summitview).

I ordered a chicken Monster Burrito and added almost every ingredient they’ve got: refried beans, black beans, cabbage, pico de gallo, cheese, olives, jalapenos, red onions, cilantro, guac, and corn.

My burrito came to a little under 13 dollars. That feels like a lot to spend on lunch compared to prices I’ve paid before, but we all know that the cost of everything has gone up recently. Urgh!

Nino’s is located in West Valley, inside the Westpark shopping plaza near Walgreen’s on 40th and Summitview in Yakima. They’re open Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11-7.
