PASCO, Wash.- A tribute to veterans during the Christmas season is coming to Pasco. A Wreaths Across America event will be hosted at the City View Cemetary on December 16.
The nationwide campaign is in its 31st year after starting in Virginia at the Arlington National Cemetary. Community members are invited to participate by placing wreaths on the gravesites of veterans, honoring their sacrifices.
City View Cemetary will host the event starting at 11 a.m.
Three wreaths have been sponsored so far, but the community is invited to gather more wreaths to place on the graves of the 950 veterans at City View. November 28 is the cut off to sponsor wreaths.
