West Richland Animal Control receives award for high save rate

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – West Richland Animal Control (WRAC) received an award from the Best Friends Animal Society for achieving above a 90 percent animal save rate in 2022 according to the West Richland Police Department.

WRAC earned the award by having a save rate of 99.2 percent in 2022.

Best Friends Animal Society is a national animal welfare organization based in Utah and gives out the award each year to eligible animal control organizations.
