KENNEWICK, Wash. –
One man is arrested after running from cops and hitting an officer with his car in Kennewick.
Kennewick Police Department says this happened around 11:00 p.m. on November 25th after KPD says officers tried to make contact with a wanted 38-year-old suspect in the Red Lion Hotel parking lot.
Officer say when they tried to arrest him, he drove away recklessly and hit an officer with his car.
Officers say they later found the suspect near Clearwater Ave. and Union St. and started a pursuit.
With the help of Benton County Sheriffs Office, the suspect was stopped and arrested near 10th Ave. and U.S. 395.
KPD says the suspect has been booked into the Benton County jail.
