BURBANK, Wash.-The community is invited to learn more about a levy lid lift to benefit Walla Walla Fire District 5, that will be on the ballot in November.
The purpose of the lid lift that will appear on the general election ballot on November 7, is to improve emergency services, including allowing the district to hire additional firefighters and upgrade the station according to WWFD5.
The WWFD5 is asking voters to approve a $0.24 lid lift that would cost an owner of a $350,000 home an additional $84 per year or $7 per month according to a press release from WWFD5.
