KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Washington African American Chamber of Commerce plans to hold its first annual Business Brunch at the Three Rivers Convention Center in two weeks.
According to event organizers from the WAACC, the official date for this event is Saturday, October 22. It will run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. with the theme “Partnering for GROWTH” 2022 at the core of its presentation.
Presented by Chaune Fitzgerald, CEO of Women of Wisdom, awards will be handed out to members of the African American Chamber as well as peers and mentors who contribute to the success of business owners in the BIPOC (Black and Indigenous people of color) communities.

There will be specific recognition for small business owners making waves in the Tri-Cities area. According to the event’s organizers, the brunch and accompanying breakout sessions will be available for current and prospective members as well as chamber sponsors and supporters from around the Tri-Cities community.
