Investigators said the card skimmer device was installed a day earlier and took only five seconds to install.

RICHLAND – The Richland Police Department released a photo of the man they suspect is responsible for a credit card skimmer at a Richland Walmart.
Authorities said the skimmer was found by a customer attempting to use a self-checkout aisle at the Walmart on the 2800 block of Duportail Street on October 31.
Richland officers removed the device and started to investigate the case.
After checking surveillance video, investigators said a man wearing a light blue sweat suit with black shoes and wearing a satchel across his chest may be responsible for installing the skimmer.
Investigators said it appeared from the video the man had installed it around 2 p.m. Sunday, October 30. They said it took only five seconds for the man to install it, despite customers and Walmart employees being nearby.
Richland investigators said the man left the store parking lot in a silver or light gray SUV or van with a rack on top of it.
