WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Salvation Army is hosting its annual Turkey Trot in Walla Walla on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 23, to further its work for the community.
The event features a 5K run and a one-mile walk with a registration fee of $15 until race day where the price increases to $25.
Registration at the event opens at 8 a.m., warm up begins at 8:30 a.m. and the races begins at 9 a.m.
All funds raised from the race will be used by The Salvation Army to help low income families with utilities, rent, buying school supplies and more.
