Suspect Pulls Knife During Kennewick Store Robbery Attempt

A robbery suspect is still being sought by the Kennewick Police Department after this weekend’s robbery attempt at a grocery store on Gum Street.

The attempted robbery occurred at 424 Gum Street in Kennwick at approximately 6:16 PM on Friday, June 19th.

Kennewick Police Release Photos of Robbery Suspect

The suspect entered the grocery store and attempted to steal a 12-pack of Squirt. The grocery employee attempted to stop the suspect, and the suspect pulled a knife.

The suspect then fled the scene.

KPD officers launched a drone, and K-9 Ivan was also requested, but both attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful.

The Kennewick Police are now seeking leads from residents regarding the suspect.
