Suspect location unknown after running from stolen car in Kennewick

Posted on by admin

BENTON COUNTY, Wash.- According to a Facebook post made by Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a stolen Kennewick car has been reported.

According to BCSO a suspicious car was found along the river path on Nutmeg Street in Kennewick.

According to BCSO, the car had two occupants inside. Both occupants ran away when officers began to approach the car.

One of the occupants had no involvement and informed officers of the drivers identity.

Officers then confirmed the car was reported stolen earlier that week.

According to BCSO the suspect who was driving the car was trying to paint the car a different color with spray paint.

The car was then towed away from the location while Kennewick Police continue to investigate and locate the suspect.
