COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – The speed limit on College Avenue will be reduced to 25 miles per hour starting Fri., Feb. 16.
The speed limit for the length of College Avenue will be 25, according to College Place Police. Previously stretches of the road were 35 in some spots and 30 in other stretches.
The speed reduction to a uniform 25 along the entirety of College Avenue comes after a safety and engineering study of the road, according to a video announcing the reduction from College Place Police.
