TRI-CITIES, Wash. – The Speck Hyundai Dealership in the Tri-Cities is hosting an anti-theft vehicle software upgrade event on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Speck Hyundai says Hyundai vehicles made between 2011 and 2022 that do not have push-button ignitions nor anti-theft devices have been heavily targeted recently by car thieves.
The free software upgrade Speck Hyundai is providing Hyundai drivers modifies certain vehicle control modules in turn-key ignition systems to prevent possible thefts.
