A 17-year-old male juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts from the Lakeview Golf and County Club in Soap Lake, a well-used golf location.
The Thefts Occurred August 1st. and 2nd.
Over the weeekend of August 1st and 2nd. the Grant County Sheriff’s Office took multiple reports from golfers about vehicle prowls at the course area.
The Grant County CRT, or Crime Reduction Team investigated and was able to identify the suspect, using in part surveillance footage.

Then, they placed his home under surveillance, and observed him unloading, multiple times, items he’d stolen from the car prowls.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office did not elaborate on what items were taken, but after watching the youth load more stolen items into his vehicle, they stopped him he was arrested. He’s now facing a long list of charges, according to the GCSO:
“…suspicion of three counts of second-degree motor vehicle prowl, one count of second-degree possession of stolen property, and one count of second-degree theft.”
The GCSO reminds anyone who was at the popular golf course that weekend who had items stolen or missing and has not reported them yet, should do so by calling the Crime Reduction Team at 509-762-1160.
