Shakira is officially the queen of petty!
On Tuesday (Feb. 14), she posted a video to Instagram singing along to SZA‘s breakup revenge anthem “Kill Bill” as she mopped the floor.
“I might kill my ex / Not the best idea / His new girlfriend’s next / How’d I get here?” she sang.
A caption on the post allegedly read, “Mopped the floor with Don Pique, and it was shiny.”
“When’s the SZA feat. Shakira remix?????” MTV’s official Instagram commented.
Shakira and ex Gerard Pique announced their separation in June 2022 after 11 years and two kids together, and recently, cheating rumors about the couple have gone viral online.
On Jan. 25, Pique debuted his new girlfriend, Clara Chia, 23, on Instagram. According to unconfirmed rumors, Shakira’s song “Te Felicito” reveals how she discovered Pique allegedly cheating with Chia due to her favorite strawberry jam being eaten.
An unconfirmed report in The Sun first detailed cheating rumors about the couple.
“This is for you to be mortified / To chew and swallow, swallow and chew,” a translation of the “Te Felicito” lyrics said.
In the music video, she even opens the refrigerator to find collaborator Rauw Alejandro’s severed head.
“Shakira is literally running pop culture in her 40s. Giving us breakup anthems, getting her suegra, hiring an investigator, catching the jam thief, throwing her ex out of the house, planting a witch and now this mopping [TikTok],” one fan tweeted.
Another fan mused on Twitter, “Shakira really hates him so bad, and it’s so hard to make her mad, she’s literally the sweetest person alive. I wonder what he did to her mah gawd.”
In January, Shakira allegedly placed a scary witch doll on the balcony that faces her ex mother-in-law’s home, according to New York Post.
Shakira is also currently facing a tax fraud trial in Spain, where she shared a home with Pique in Barcelona.
As of publishing, she has denied wrongdoing in the case.
