Report: Washington has one of the largest Thanksgiving dinner price drops in the country

Posted on by admin

TRI-CITIES, Wash.-This year a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people will cost $75.01.

According to the financial and educational firm, Scholaroo, the $75 price tag is 10.7 percent cheaper than last Thanksgiving.

Scholaroo recently released a Thanksgiving Dinner Prices 2023 report, to analyze the price change from last year to this year on dinner tables in every state.

To determine the Thanksgiving price changes Scholaroo gathered data from the food products necessary for a traditional holiday meal, including non-organic whole turkey, mashed potatos, stuffing, green beans, sweet potatos, cranberry sauce, rolls and apple pie with whipped cream.

According to Scholaroo’s Thanksgiving dinner price report Washington comes in at number 22 for the state with the highest change from 2022 to 2023, with a decrease of 11.2 percent.

The complete Thanksgiving dinner price report is available through Scholaroo.
