Pasco’s Sebastian Gutierrez Signs with the Dallas Cowboys

A familiar name from the Tri-Cities is getting another shot in the NFL. He is big #60 in the photo above.

Pasco native Sebastian Gutierrez has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, giving the former Pasco Bulldog another opportunity to continue his professional football journey after recently being released by the New England Patriots.

From Pasco, Washington to the NFL

Gutierrez’s football story began at Pasco High School, where he developed into one of the area’s top offensive linemen before continuing his career at Minot State University.

Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 315 pounds, Gutierrez wasn’t selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, but that hasn’t slowed him down. He has continued to earn opportunities with several NFL organizations through hard work and persistence.

His professional stops have included the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers (boo lol), Cleveland Browns, and Indianapolis Colts before now landing with the Cowboys.

Another Opportunity in Dallas

For many players, bouncing from team to team would be discouraging, but for Gutierrez, it has become part of the grind of chasing an NFL career.

The Cowboys are adding valuable depth along the offensive line, and Gutierrez will now have a chance to prove he belongs as training camp and the preseason continue.

Every practice and preseason snap becomes another opportunity to earn a roster spot.

Seahawks Fans May Get to See Him Soon

There’s an added local connection for football fans here in Washington State.

If Gutierrez remains with Dallas through training camp, he could suit up when the Cowboys visit the Seattle Seahawks for their preseason opener on August 15.
