Authorities said the man is suspected of hurting a woman and was arrested by the Wapato Police Department.
MOXEE, Wash. – A Moxee man has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman Thursday afternoon.
Moxee authorities said they were called to Spokane Street for a report of assault.
When they got to the scene, they said they found a 27-year-old woman had been assaulted and raped. Authorities said after investigating, they had enough evidence to arrest the 28-year-old man.
The Wapato Police Department was able to track the man down and he was arrested.
He is facing charges of rape and unlawful imprisonment.
The woman was treated for her injuries, but authorities said they were non-life threatening.
The man was taken to the Yakima County Jail.
