Human Remains Found Near Rock Island Dam
Since February 6th of this year, the CCSO and other agencies have been searching for leads into the disappearance of 18-year-old Erik Luna. Last seen around 6 PM in Bridgeport on that day, his family said his vanishing, and not contacting them, was very out of character.

Now this week, the CCSO say human remains found in the Columbia River near Rock Island Dam are not that of Luna. They did not say how they reached that conclusion.
Authorities didn’t say how long the remains had been in the water, but the said they are not of the missing teen. The Department was notified about the discovery shortly before 8 PM on Monday, the 20th.
The Coroner and Other Officials Working to ID the Person
The CCSO said tests are being conducted to try to determine the ID of the remains taken out of the water, the investigation into both cases continues. Bridgeport is about 69 miles north of Wenatchee, and 81 miles north of the Rock Island Dam.
