MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The family of a 20-year-old man killed while trying to protect his Grant County home is simultaneously raising awareness about his senseless murder and funds to give him a proper burial in the wake of tragedy.

Moses Lake police officers responded to a home on the 3000-block of Road H Northeast shortly before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 30. There, officers found Alistair Waggoner, 20, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

A person close to Alistair, Savannah Miller, later confirmed that he was trying to defend the home when he was killed. However, the person responsible has not been identified or located at this time.
