Kennewick Police are asking for help for an incident that happened on August 6th in the area ofĀ Eastgate Park at 1110 E 10th Ave.
Kennewick Police Seek Witnesses After Man Allegedly Threatened People With Knives
Police were notified at 4:40 PM of a man in the park threatening multiple people with two knives in his hands.

Knife-Wielding Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening People at Kennewick Park
Along with the Benton County Sheriff’s Department deputies and KPD officers, the man was apprehended after a standoff.
The suspect did not comply with commands and fled with the knives, but was quickly brought down.

Luckliy no one was injured. The suspect was booked into the Benton County Jail on several charges. The suspect has not been identified yet.
Kennewick Police need your help in locating witnesses and victims, as those who were threatened left the scene before the police showed up.
