Kennewick Police Respond o Armed Disturbance at Apartment Complex

Kennewick Police were dispatched to a disturbance with weapons on Thursday at an apartment complex.

It was reported someone threatened another with a gun in the pool area of the complex in the 500 block of North Edison Street. As officers arrived in the area, they located and detained three suspects involved nearby at Kamiakin High School.

A Male Teen With a Gun Threatened a Person at the Apartment Pool

After investigation, it was learned that a 17-year old threatened the victim with a gun. Police also located a 17-year old female and an 18-year old male in possession of two handguns. One of the firearms was used in the pool threat at the apartment complex. Two of the suspects are affiliated with a criminal street gang.

No one was injured in the incident.

Three Individuals Face Multiple Charges

All three suspects were taken into custody. The 17-year old male was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center on Felony Threats to Kill and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree, due to his age and being a convicted felon.

The 18-year old male, Adrien Vasquez, was booked into Benton County Jail for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm on School Grounds and Carrying a Firearm without a license.

The 17-year old girl was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree due to her age.

As the investigation continues, the teen suspects could be facing more criminal charges.
