KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Fire Department’s Fire Chief Chad Michael announced an open house on Twitter yesterday.
The open house, hosted by the Kennewick Fire Department and Benton County Fire District 1, is being held for Fire Prevention Week at the Fire Training Center in Kennewick.
The event features information about fire prevention, disaster preparedness, outdoor burning and more along with displays of fire and emergency vehicles.
The event will also feature kids activities such as a challenge course. There will also be snacks and beverages available.
The Fire Training Center is located at 1811 South Ely Street in Kennewick.
