Kennewick Cares program provides help to residents struggling with utility bills

Posted on by admin

KENNEWICK, Wash.-The Kennewick Cares Program provides an opportunity for community members and utility customers to give back during the holidays or throughout the year.

Through Kennewick Cares customers can assist other residents who are struggling to pay their water utility bills.

According to the City of Kennewick, setting up a recurring donation of even $1 dollar extra to your utility bill each month can make a difference for families struggling financially.

The Benton Franklin Community Action Committee distributes the funds collected through Kennewick Cares to qualified residents in the service area.

Customers interested in making a recurring monthly donation can fill out the form online through the City of Kennewick.

One-time donations are also accepted via mail by mailing the completed donation form to Attn: Kennewick Cares, City of Kennewick, 210 W. 6th Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336.
