Kittitas County – Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has closed part of I-90 for the second day in a row because of multiple crashes and spin-outs.
The Snoqualmie Pass account tweeted that Westbound lanes had to be shut down near Cle Elum because of semi truck crashes at the summit.
That announcement came almost exactly 24 hours after WSDOT closed Eastbound lanes of the interstate because of a crash scene that involved a total of 38 vehicles.

Pictures from the Snoqualmie Pass Twitter account showed jackknifed semi trucks on a snow-covered road with more snow falling. A Washington State Patrol trooper responding to the scene shared a picture showing a semi truck stretched across both Westbound lanes of the interstate.
