Hanford Site agencies invite public to learn and ask about progress on cleanup projects

KENNEWICK, Wash. – State and federal agencies involved in cleanup efforts at the Hanford Site are inviting the public to learn about the latest projects and ask questions at an upcoming meeting.

The Hanford Dialogue meeting will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Red Lion Hotel on 1101 N Columbia Center Blvd. in Kennewick. Open house will start at 6:30 p.m., with the dialogue meeting to follow from 6 to 8 p.m.

Leadership form the Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) agencies – the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Washington State Department of Ecology – will host the dialogue. Breakout sessions are planned to provide information and answer questions about the latest cleanup projects on the Hanford Site.
