Franklin County Deputies Rescue Man Trapped in Gas Station Restroom
Mid-morning Friday, 7-31, Franklin County Deputies responded to a CFN gas station (the exact location was not given) by a phone call from a patron who was trapped inside the bathroom.

According to the FCSO, the man could not get the deadbolt to release. The worker attempted for free the stubborn lock, but failed. Then they called a locksmith, but he met with the same fate. None of their tools would dislodge the stubborn bolt.
So, Then What Did FCSO Deputies Do?
Chief Harris from Franklin County Fire District 3 showed up, and of course, being a fireman, brought a various array of tools used to subdue even the most stubborn doors and locks. As shown in the FCSO pictures, the Chief and Deputy Roske were able to ‘persuade’ the door to open.
The man, other than being a little warm after his 2 1/2-hour imprisonment, had a great sense of humor, and told Officers he’d live-streamed his adventure on social media while inside.

Deputies Actually Had some Words of Wisdom About this Event
FCSO Officers said it was actually very helpful that the man had his phone with him at the time, depending on the ‘state’ of the restroom facility, it’s a good idea to have your phone with you—just don’t drop it in the commode.
By the way, there’s no telling how many people end up in situations like this, nobody keeps a national database—we checked.
