Food distribution event to help families on Martin Luther King Day

PASCO, Wash. – The Tri-Cities Diversity & Inclusion Council is hosting its fourth annual drive-up food distribution event for Martin Luther King Day on Jan. 15 at the Gesa Stadium in Pasco, according to a press release.

The event is partnered with HAPO Community Credit Union and Lutheran Community Services Northwest and provides free food and essential items for thousands of families in need.

The Washington Department of Health’s Care-a-Van mobile health clinic will be at the event along with other healthcare resources.

Restoration Community Impact, Kadlec and Gesa Credit Union is also helping in making the event possible.

The Council is still accepting food and monetary donations. More information can be found on its website.
