Here’s a breakdown for what is going on starting tonight.
-Friday night-
-Winter Weather Warning for Kittitas County with 4 to 6 inches of new snow into tomorrow morning with a chance of additional ice.
-Winter Weather Advisory for Yakima County with 2 to 4 inches of new snow into Saturday AM.
-The Mid-Columbia could see early snow, changing to rain overnight as warm winds start to creep in. If the wind is not enough we could see 1 to 2 inches of snow. Most likely rain though.
-Saturday-
-Scattered snow to wintry mix all day for Ellensburg and Yakima. Scattered wintry mix all day for Mid-Columbia and Blue Mountain region.
-Sunday-
-Scattered rain for all of our areas.
Next week will be well below the freezing mark on Tuesday, and will be mostly dry and sunny.
