OnDeck Study Ranks Spokane’s Feast World Kitchen as #1 in Washington
Business lender OnDeck identified Yelp’s highest rated independently owned restaurants for each state in the nation. Feast World Kitchen (1321 W 3rd Ave) came out on top. They have 4.9 out of 5 stars, and there are no 1, 2, or 3 rated stars on their reviews page!
With such rave reviews (and a great mission), I’m going to have to check this place out the next time I’m in Spokane for sure!

What Makes Feast World Kitchen a Special Place to Eat in Spokane
The mission of this restaurant is that it helps local immigrants and former refugees to host their own restaurant. This allows them to gain skills in running a business and gain customer service skills, to boot. Cuisine from different countries from around the globe are featured. It sounds like this is a Spokane hidden gem!

The restaurant is only open for lunch (11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.) and dinner (4 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.) every Wednesday through Sunday. You don’t typically need a reservation except during the busiest times of the year (Restaurant Week season).
“Table Time is our practical assistance program serving Spokane’s Immigrant and former Refugee communities. Our trained Community Health Workers work alongside people to find and navigate resources, reduce barriers to access, and learn to use resources with increasing independence. We aim to reduce isolation, offering our suppport in a context of friendly hospitality — most often, around a table with food!”
