Drunk Driver Arrested, Driving on Shredded Tire in Kennewick

Benton County Deputies on patrol spotted the wayward driver.

Very early Thursday morning, around 12:29 AM,  A Benton County Deputy on Patrol on SR 397 (Chemical Drive) saw a small pickup laboring northbound, toward the Cable Bridge.

The truck seemed to be indulating on the right front, indicating a flat tire.  As the Deputy prepared to pull over the truck, sparks began flying from the rim as it scraped the pavement.

   The Driver Was Arrested for DUI

The driver, identified as 21‑year‑old Isaac G. Dallman, was taken into custody for DUI, the right front was completely shredded.  It is not known if the tire blew, it’s possible he had hit a curb or other object, blowing up the rubber.

No other vehicles involved, no injuries reported.
