Cop on Top at Coffee Shop events to benefit Special Olympics set for Sept. 20 in Pasco

TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Law enforcement agencies will participate in Cop on Top at Coffee Shop fundraisers for local Special Olympics athletes on Friday, Sept. 20.

The fundraiser is an opportunity to showcase the thriving Special Olympics program of the Tri-Cities, as well as to raise funds and recruit new athletes, coaches and volunteers, according to event organizers.

Money raised will benefit the local Special Olympics program, including helping pay for facilities fees and practices, uniforms, equipment and travel.

Cop on Top at Coffee Shop events will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at three different Starbucks locations in Pasco to raise money for local Special Olympics athletes.

Anyone who can’t make the Cop on Top event on Sept. 20, but would still like to donate may do so by scanning the QR code or contacting Tri-Cities Special Olympics.
