Fire crews called to a location north of Prosser
Monday afternoon, the BCSO and fire crews responded to a brush fire near the intersection of Snipes Road and Crosby Road, about 8 miles north of Prosser.
The reporting party indicated there was a truck on fire, and the flames spread to nearby vegetation, creating a small brush fire.
It was quickly contained, and investigators learned the truck had been recently reported stolen out of Pasco. The Pasco Police Department will take over the investigation and the owner was notified that what was left of their truck had been found.
