Adult Night School Program returning to College Place

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash.-The College Place Public School District announced that its Adult Night School Program will return on Nov. 27.

The Adult Night School Program provides educational opportunities to adults in the community for free. Classes will run from Nov. 27 through Feb. 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at College Place High School. Free childcare will be available for students.

College Place Public Schools hopes to engage the Latino community through the Night School Program and will offer all classes in both English and Spanish. The program hopes to foster lifelong learning and support the diverse needs of the community, according to CPPS.

Adult Night School course offerings:

GED Preparation: Individuals will obtain the skills necessary to obtain their GED.Financial Literacy Education: Course will provide essential knowledge for making informed financial decisions.Cooking Class: Will explore healthy and affordable culinary skills.Job Readiness Skill Development: Course will cover computer skills, resume writing and interview techniques.

College Place High School is located at 1700 S. College Ave. A full listing of courses is available online.
