A Thrilling Real-Life Bat Cave Airbnb Hiding in Leavenworth

Posted on by admin

I’ve made it my goal to get out of the Tri-Cities more to see and learn more about WA.

It’s amazing what you can discover! I’m up for experiencing once-in-a-lifetime excursions, and the following Leavenworth Airbnb stay looks AWESOME!

Experience this amazing real life bat cave in Leavenworth

This Underground Airbnb features quite a bit!

Called the C+A+V+E, this Airbnb is truly unique. There’s a fireplace, a natural rock hot tub, and can house 8 guests with 4 beds. Outside, there’s a large area with a picnic table, a ping-pong table, and a gondola. Yes. A Whistler gondola.

The reviews are great!

Have you ever stayed in a CAVE before? Check it off your bucket list. Look, here’s what’s awesome about this place … you’re right next to some of the best hiking in WA state, so you can log miles all day, then pile into a hot tub next to a roaring fire as a reward. When you post a photo of an Airbnb apartment you’re staying in, no one replies “Woah, is that an apartment?” But when you post a photo of yourself sipping coffee from the inside of a cave, you inspire awe, wonder, and joy. Collect an experience; the CAVE is calling you. – Scott

The cave was an amazing experience!
Highlights include:
– a climbing wall for the kids
– a hot tub with an amazing cave ambience
– a short walk to Icicle River (near Snow Lakes trailhead) to take a quick dip
– a short hike on the property to a lookout and peaceful waterfall
– space-age lighting inside, kerosene lanterns outside
– a fire pit and plentiful dry firewood
– a cavernous space (inside and outside) that is roomy for 6 guests
– a helpful host! – Angela

Unfortunately, this trip looks like an impossibility.

Per the Airbnb page for the C+A+V+E, the ownership changed hands a couple years ago and it looks like they are no longer offering rentals, at least on Airbnb. I wasn’t able to find it anywhere else, either. Hopefully whoever owns the property now is at least appreciating its remarkably unique charm.
