If you don’t have kids, you may have forgotten that it is time for the children of Washington State to go back to school. That means millions of kids in our state are suddenly on the streets waiting for buses, riding their bikes, or walking to school. According to the NSC, “Most of the children who lose their lives in bus-related incidents are four to seven years old and on foot”. They say that most of those children killed are from cars passing a bus and then hitting a child crossing the road. That shows exactly why everyone needs to review these important safety tips now that kids are back in school.
