6-Year-Old Boy Found Safe After Overnight Kidnapping

A 6-year old boy who was kidnapped overnight was found safe on Tuesday.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says the boy was taken after an altercation with the boy’s mother, where she was thrown from a vehicle.

The Boy Was Found Unharmed Tuesday Morning in King County

Early today, a family friend woke up at about 5:30 am to find the boy in their front yard in Shoreline. Police have since reunited the boy with his mother.

At about 10 pm on Monday, deputies responded to an assault, with a female victim being thrown from a vehicle in Lynwood. Police found the 29-year old woman on the side of the road with injuries to her head and face. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect was identified as the woman’s ex-boyfriend.He fled the area with the woman’s child in the vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be driving the victim’s 2010 silver Ford Fusion with Washington license plate CVF8854. He’s accused of several domestic violence crimes.
