27 acres burn at Benton County campground

PLYMOUTH, Wash.- A fire at the Bing Canyon Campground about 10 miles northwest of Plymouth burned around 27-acres on June 7.

Benton County Fire District 6 and fire agencies from the Tri-Cities responded to the brush fire at the camp that is comprised of shrub and prairie grasses.

The fire was accidentally started by workers at the camp according to BCFD6. No injuries were reported in the fire.
