A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the investigation.
George, WA Man Arrested on Multiple Counts
The tips originally led to a possible Moses Lake address, which prompted the MLPD to take the lead, as it progressed, the investigation narrowed to a location in George, which is in the County.
The MLPD carried the case to its conclusion, with the arrest of 18-year-old Keegan Nelson. MLPD said often, tips come in about a general area of activity, which can be narrowed down, especially with digital ‘addresses.
The Suspect’s Home in George Was Searched
Multiple electronic devices were confiscated, and the MLPD says Nelson is facing these initial charges:
“…multiple counts of possession and dealing in images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The photos do not contain images of local children.”
Officials said it is likely more charges will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
