RICHLAND, Wash.-Richland Police arrested a suspect in Pasco on Nov. 2 in connection to a string of dumpster fires in Richland.
The RPD, arson investigators and the Richland Fire Marshal worked together to investigate the three most recent fires that were reportedly intentionally started within hours of each other on October 29, and identified the suspect.
According to an RPD social media post, further investigation linked the suspect to another string of dumpster fires in August of 2023.
The suspect was booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of arson in connection to at least seven fires in Richland and Kennewick.
