STCU offering free FAFSA form help

PASCO, Wash. – Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU) is partnering with Launch NW and the College Success Foundation to help complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms on Wednesday, January 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The event will be at the STCU Pasco Branch at 5677 N Road 68.

The FAFSA form is used to apply for financial aid for college and grad school. The form applies for student loans, scholarships, grants, work-study programs, and more.

STCU said the following information/documents are needed to complete the application.

– Email addresses of student and parent(s).

– Social Security Numbers and birthdates of student and parent(s). For Green Card holders, please provide your A-Number.

– 2023 Federal Tax information or return(s).

– Records of any untaxed income.

– Cash, savings, and checking account balances.

– Investment information, other than your primary residence.

STCU recommends bringing a laptop with Wi-Fi capability.
