RICHLAND, Wash.- Construction on a new roundabout where State Route 240 and 225 meet will begin on April 24.
The roundabout will connect SR 240, SR 225 and Hanford Route 10 to reduce congestion during peak hours. The Department of Transportation and its contractor, Apollo, expect construction to be completed by the end of June.
During construction, drivers should expect single lane closures with an automated flagger directing traffic. Speed will be limited to 40 miles per hour in the work zone.
