The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office issued bulletins about increasing amounts of “killer” fentanyl-laced products pouring into their county, and others.
20 overdose deaths in Skagit County alone this month so far.
Skagit County Emergency Medical Services says they’ve responded to at least 20 overdose deaths in the county just to the north of Snohomish County.
Of those, five had occurred in the last week alone. Skagit officials are particularly concerned with what they call “killer” fentanyl-laced other street drugs, including meth and coke.

Growing numbers of street drugs are being laced with larger and larger amounts of the deadly drug. These mixes are often referred to as “Fetti,” sometimes investigators find that the tainted drugs may burn with a blue tint when ignited, but not always.
Skagit officials say in addition to the fentanyl pills, the biggest risk is the mixed drugs, which can kill someone without even knowing the threat is there.
