RICHLAND, Wash – A program offering interactive activities to teens on how to make sound financial decisions made its debut at Richland School District (RSD) middle schools.
Gesa Credit Union partnered with the Bite of Reality ‘Real World Simulation’ program to teach the students to work within a budget based on their fictional income and debts, RSD said in a release.
RSD said the simulation sparked difficult conversations among peers as they had to make decisions between wants and needs.
