Rare cards worth $45k, including Jordan rookie missing from Walla Walla shop

Posted on by admin

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-A local cards and comics shop is asking for the public’s help after a package with five rare and valuable trading cards went missing last week.

The package, which contained five cards worth an estimated $45,000, was stolen from a FedEx truck on its way to Digital Heroes in Walla Walla, according to the store.

“These cards are incredibly valuable and irreplaceable,” said Jeff Watson, owner of Digital Heroes. “We’d really like to have them back, no questions asked.”

According to a Digital Heroes press release, the missing cards include 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card graded 3.5. The package also contained four coveted Magic the Gathering cards from the original 1993 Alpha release.

Anyone with any information on the missing cards is asked to contact Digital Heroes at 509-525-0380 or the Walla Walla Police at 509-527-1960.
