Quite Literally ‘On The Edge’ in New York City

Posted on by admin

Washington State is literally a nation away from NYC! I’ve made it there 4 times in the last 8 mos. I love New York! The first time I was there this year, I got to sing on Broadway! It was amazing! So much fun for me!

Where is the Edge and how much does it cost?

I was just there again last week, and this time one of the highlights I wanted to share with you all is a place called The Edge New York My Publicist Carly and I went to the Highest Outdoor Sky Deck and Drank a glass of champagne while we stared in awe at the magnificent view!

At first, my stomach was like a roller coaster I am so terrified of heights. but, after a while I began to trust the walls of glass would protect me from slipping off the edge to the vast city lights below.

All of a sudden the wind began to gust and we felt as if we were being carried away on the wings of a plane! Or better yet a boat…like we were at the Helm or is it the Bow?

In the elements and out in front of a moving vessel embracing the wind with the sea whisping our faces and white caps splashing below! Okay well, maybe no white caps but you get the idea.

NYC is home to many sightseeing attractions

We could almost taste the salt as it danced off our lips…I know,  I’m getting a little carried away here, but you get the point. And for added effect, the song from Titanic (tee hee) It’s pretty hilarious and shows how ‘unglamorous’ the wind can make things!

Just so you can get a full view without crazy women taking up the screen, here it is without us in the view:

It was simply spectacular!
