Over 70 Great & Underrated Things In Washington State

Posted on by admin

So many things in Washington are taken for granted or are flat-out underrated.

Not just things in Washington but worldwide.

And the sad part is you really don’t realize how underrated it is until you don’t have it.

A perfect example of this is water!

Good old H2O! You really don’t appreciate everything it can do for you until you don’t have it.

You use it to hydrate, clean yourself and your things, cook, and help things grow.

It is used in the creation of art (sculptures, paintings, etc.).

Water is used for recreation and fun, to cool you down, and to warm yourself up.

So many more uses.

I’m also reminded of the book The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy and its discussion on how great and versatile a towel is.

Yeah, when you think about it, especially with the book with the words “Don’t Panic” printed in big friendly letters on the side, the towel is a very underrated thing that we get to use.

You can use it as a blanket to keep warm, lay on it to keep it from getting dirty, get it wet and use it in hand-to-hand combat.

You can wrap it around your head for a hat or protection, tie it around your eyes as a blindfold, or as a sail on a very small raft, etc., and of course, you can dry yourself off with it, if it’s not too dirty.

Much like the towel, here are 70 great and underrated things in Washington!
