What do you plan on doing in your retirement?

Perhaps you want to travel. There are plenty who just want to live in paradise and warmer weather. There are some who want to just live in retirement communities to live out their days in a group atmosphere.

Well, as it turns out, Washington State ain’t it, chief.

According to Wallet Hub, Florida is the #1 place for retirement. This, you probably knew. Colorado came in 2nd place which was interesting.

Washington State, though, came in 8th place for worst place. Or 43nd place in best places which sounds way worse.

the absolute worst, though, is Kentucky.

Affordability, quality of life, and health care ranking were all taken into consideration when coming up with this list.

Did you know more than 1 in 3 people don’t have a retirement plan? In today’s climate 46% of Americas don’t even know if they’ll have enough money to retire. 39% say they’ll just work until they day.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
