MOSES LAKE, Wash. — On 15 separate occasions, a documented gang member out of Grant County sold methamphetamene, resulting in an 11-year prison sentence.
The sentencing was announced by the Office of U.S. Attorney Vanessa Waldref for Eastern Washington. She confirmed that 24-year-old Mario Robert Crittenden pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Actual Methamphetamine in June. He was sentenced to 132 months in federal prison during his November court date.
Court documents suggest that Crittenden was a known member of an unspecified gang. He was the subject of a year-long investigation starting in April 2020. An undercover agent observed and interacted with him on many occasions during that timeframe.
More than two lbs of meth were seized from his operation during the course of this investigation, which gave them more than enough evidence to build a court case. He was also accused of being involved with attacks against rival gang leaders and selling firearms.
“By holding dangerous offenders such as Mr. Crittenden accountable, we help keep our communities in Eastern Washington safe and our neighborhoods strong,” Waldref stated.
