KENNEWICK, Wash. — The movement of mobile homes on I-82 between milepost 82 in Prosser and milepost 132 at the Oregon State Line was restricted for Saturday, Dec. 2.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation, the restriction is due to high winds in the area.
A wind advisory was issued for the lower Columbia Basin in Oregon and the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Washington and Oregon. Wind gusts are expected to reach between 30-40 mph and sustained winds between 10-20 mph.
There is currently no end time for the travel restriction.
