Japanese restaurant is first business to break ground at Vista Field

Posted on by admin

KENNEWICK, Wash. – Kuki Izakaya, a new Japanese restaurant coming to Kennewick, broke ground on Friday at Vista Field, the first private sector investor to do so in the new development.

The restaurant’s owners, Port of Kennewick commissioners and staff, elected officials and community members met at Lot 15 on Crosswind Boulevard to celebrate.

Vista Field is an upcoming urban walkable town center created by the Port of Kennewick, located just east of the Toyota Center and Three Rivers Convention Center.

“We are excited for this business investment and are currently working on a number of other land sales as we continue to shape the future of Vista Field,” said Vista Field in a social media post.

Kuki Izakaya will serve sushi rolls, sashimi and other Japanese cuisine, along with local wines and drinks, including Japanese sakes. Its owners also own Ara Sushi & Grill and Chicken & Bowl in Richland.

More information about Vista Field can be found on its website.
